Everyone knows the dangers of drunk driving but, everyone also know someone who drinks and drives. Driving is scary/dangerous enough as it is and, to think that people are out there driving under the influence is a insane to think about. This blog is not about to lecture people about drinking and driving though. It's about what society needs to do to limit the amount of people who drink and drive!
Now a days there are tonnnssss of charities that support every cause under the sun. The charity that I would want to start is called No Questions Asked. No Questions Asked would be a charity that offers a designated driver to anyone who needs one if they call a specific number... no questions asked. I know what your thinking, "How are you going to find a driver 24/7?" I think that a lot of people out in the communities would love to help out in any way shape or form if they know that they are saving lives and providing a good example for children. The program would be run on donations and volunteers.
How is this different than a taxi?
There would be no demand for you to pay the driver! It would be run purely on donation. If the person getting a ride would want to spare a few dollars to give to the driver they could but there's no pressure. Taxis are very expensive so many people take the gamble of drunk driving instead which usually doesn't end well!
Who would be able to get a ride?
Anyone who calls the number. It doesn't matter how old you are. Teenagers and adults are free to use the service. Again, I know what your thinking, "This will promote underage drinking?" What's worse a child getting a DUI and becoming a felon while still in high school or calling NO Questions Asked? What's worse a teenager going to jail for killing someone or calling No Questions Asked? Also, I think after the program gets later developed the program would help people who have DUIs and don't have a license but need to get to and from work. People with DUIs have a hard time getting to and from work, stores, and etc. The program is set up to help the community and should really look at ways to help everyone in need.
Many parents claim that they have "talked" to their children and told them that they will pick them up any where or time if they need a ride. The negative to that is many teenagers don't want to get in trouble with their parents so they don't call and drive home. Also, teenagers know that their parents don't want to wake up at four o'clock in the morning to pick them up so they get behind the wheel intoxicated! Then there are the teenagers who don't have people to pick them up which isn't fair! My program would help out everyone who falls into any category of need! This is a positive program and positive way of thinking.
I know this would charity would be pretty close to impossible to set up all across the country but it would be nice if something was set up for people who need rides while they're intoxicated! I feel like there are many ways to help out people in the community and this would be a nice way to help out! =)
P.S. I hope you like my blogs. I don't know if they're good or not but, I'm having fun writing them! =] I have no idea what my next blog will be about. If you have any suggestions let me know!

Crappy Jobs, Crappy Life!
I would like to start off saying that I'm thankful to actually have a job because soooo many people don't have a job at all but this is going to be a bit of a rant....
So parents tell their high school students go and get a minimum wage job because you need money! No child wants to get a job but what makes things even worse is the shitty uniforms we have to wear at a minimum wage paying job. There is a reason no one ever wears visors and over sized polos around town they are just plain ugly and everyone who wears them looks like a straight up goon! No one ever looks hot in the uniforms and then your boss comes over to you and hands you an apron to make things worse! There's no way anybody will be hitting on you in thatsexy uniform!
Then there's the crazy people you're forced to work with. If there older like our parents ages they probably have some weird trait about them. For example, I worked at a hamburger restaurant and one lady who had three children all from different father and lived with her mother had the same job as me and only three teeth but, the worst part was that she smelled like moldy vegetables and was always talking about sex. There's two reasons why talking about sex with someone your parents age is bad: one you don't want to picture someone that getting frisky if you know what I mean and that is so bad it counts for two reasons! Then there's the person around your age who will talk to anyone which is bad because after the first converstation they think you're besties for life! This is a warning stay away because you will never get your freedom back. They'll drive you insane. You won't be able to hear yourself think! Tip: When they talk to you think of your favorite song and start singing it in your head. They won't seem as annoying then. Additional Tip: Think of more than one song!
The jobs high school students have to do is embarrassing because you see people who are always judging you. A customer will come in and you can read on their faces that they're glad they're not you! Plus you probably look hideous because of the gross uniforms you have to wear. Then you might even be sweating to put a cherry on top of your melty ice cream sundae. =[
The worst part of all though is seeing how little you get paid. At the beginning of the week you're happy that you took on an extra shift but, you see your pay check and it's about twenty five dollars more. Is twenty five dollars worth not being able to hang out with your friends and working at some place you count down the minutes until you leave? I think not! The pay is sooooooooo bad that half of your check probably pays for the gas that got you to work and now you can save ten dollars and spend ten dollar which will buy you one stupid movie ticket (to a movie that didn't even make you laugh).
So parents, don't get mad at your children when they say they don't want to go to work. Jobs make their lives HELL! It's not like they get to go to an office and make enough money to buy something worth buying and wear something they can be comfortable in! Jeeze.. you could be a little more understanding!

High School Graduation
I graduate high school in one week and three days. It's actually a lot scarrier than I thought it would be. This feeling of time running out is always surrounding me. I had so many goals set for high school but never reached half of them. Now I have these goals for my future like college graduation, getting a respectable job, marriage and many more but, I have this over whelming feeling that I might not ever accomplish these goals either.
Or what if I spend all of my time trying to accomplish a goal that is unachievable or wont even make me happy in the long run. For example, my dream is to become an actress (Yeah I know what your thinking..so don't say it!) . I don't care if I'm famous or not but I do want to make money. There are plenty of actresses out there who make a living but you would never know their name. But the point is how do I know I will be able to take all the rejection and everyone telling me that my goal is childish. Or what if there's a different career path that I would be much better at? How am I supposed to choose right NOW one thing. I don't want to waste my time and money with going to four years of college and a hell lot of work if nothings ever going to come out of it.
TIME!!!!!!!!!! A very wise person once told me, "There's never a time when time isn't running out" which is so true. Think back when you started kindergarten and thought I will never be in first grade and then before you knew if you were in fifth grade ready to start junior high school. Then with a blink of an eye you were saying good bye to junior high and back at the bottom of the barrel starting "the best days of your life"...high school. Now high school is over and what have you accomplished that's worth anything? It's true when old people say, "Every year goes by faster and faster." Hell yeah it does! I remember thinking holy crap I have four years until I graduate...graduation can not come fast enough! But it came way to soon. I wish it would all just SSSLLLLOOOWWWWW the fuck DOWNNNNN!!!!!!!!!! How am I supposed to get anything accomplished.
But right now I am going to sit back relax and enjoy the ride. I'm going to make the best out of the little time I have left and really enjoy every moment of it. Because you're only graduate once why not savor it.
